အေတြးအျမင္ (၄)

It is no great thing to be humble when you are brought low; but to be humble when you are praised is a great and rare attainment.
သင္သည္ နိမ့္က်ေနသည့္အခ်ိန္၌ ႏွိမ့္ခ်ျခင္းမွာ အေရးပါေသာအရာမဟုတ္ေသာ္လည္း သင့္အား ၀ိုင္း၀န္းခ်ီးေျမွာက္ေနသည့္အခ်ိန္၌ ႏွိမ့္ခ်ျခင္းသည္ အေရးပါသည့္အျပင္ ရေတာင့္ရခဲ အခြင့္အေရးပင္ျဖစ္သည္။

Truthfulness is a cornerstone in character, and if it be not firmly laid in youth, there will ever after be a weak spot in the foundation.
မွန္ကန္ေျဖာင့္မတ္ျခင္းသည္ အက်င့္စာရိတၱ၏ အေျခခံအုတ္ျမစ္ျဖစ္ၿပီး ငယ္စဥ္အခါတြင္ ထိုအုတ္ျမစ္ကို ခိုင္မာစြာခ်မထားခဲ့ပါလွ်င္ အုတ္ျမစ္ခ်ထားရာေနရာ၌ မခိုင္မာသည့္ေနရာသည္ တစ္သက္လံုးရွိေနေပလိမ့္မည္။
